Meet your guide
As a fifth-generation Californian and my son Grayson being the sixth , my love for our beautiful high sierras and California coastline is inherent. My Grandfather loved the outdoors. My most treasured memories of him and my father include the many times we spent hiking, camping, and fishing. I followed in my father's footsteps and joined the Boy Scouts. The experiences and skills I learned set me on a path toward appreciating Native American history, being a good land steward, edible plant and mushroom identification/foraging, and learning the art of outdoor survival skills.
Teaching these skills to my children and sharing the beauty and tranquility of backcountry hiking and camping with others has become my passion. As a certified Wilderness First responder and lifeguard trained in CPR and first aid, you can be sure you'll have a safe and memorable adventure.
With being a triple crowner and with many thousands of trail miles in the High Sierras and along the prestigious California Coast , I will tailor your adventure to your physical ability and comfort level. From the Summit to the Sea, there's a trail that's right for you!
